How to make a high-quality memoir video.

Start with experience.

Each video is personally produced by me, Chuck Kent.

I have decades of communications experience, encompassing everything from creating major commercials (GE, Wrigley, etc.) to corporate video interviews with industry leaders. I know how to communicate your story, visually and verbally, in a concise, compelling manner, full of personality and humanity.

Stick to an easy, 5-step process.

One.

It starts when you fill out the contact form. I’ll reply to set up a brief phone call, to answer any questions, and set a time and date for the interview in your home.

Two.

You’ll receive a discussion guide in advance of our session, letting you gather your thoughts ahead of time. You can also select up to a dozen photos to be included at key points, providing them as digital or hard copy images. We will pursue the interview as a casual conversation, making the process more relaxed and the end-product more enjoyable.

Three.

On the day of the interview, I’ll be in your home for one and half hours – 15 minutes each to setup and break down equipment and 60 minutes for the interview. I have a minimal amount of equipment: camera(s), mics, and two or three lights, so I won’t be intrusive. I may bring an assistant.

Four.

Within two weeks after the interview I will provide a link to download the edited video. The fee includes one round of minor revisions, if necessary, to fix any mistakes (e.g., if we put a photo in the wrong spot).

Five.

The final edit will be available via a private download link for up to six months. I don’t provide videos on DVD, flash drives or other media, but it’s easy to find resources for that online. Honestly, though, your next and future generations will want to simply download the video and watch it on their devices.
